The End of Support for AppThemer Crowdfunding and Its Themes

Last May, we acquired Fundify, CrowdPress and the AppThemer Crowdfunding Plugin (ATCF). Since then, in an effort to improve the quality and user experience for those products, we’ve retooled both themes to work with our IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding suite, and deprecated the ATCF plugin. During this time, we have been doing our best to support their respective Legacy versions, largely in part thanks to our resident ATCF expert, Karl Lindsay.

However, as in life and in business, all good things must come to an end, and Karl will soon be taking a break from the world of crowdfunding as he embarks on some exciting overseas travels. So we felt this would be a perfect time to complete the end of life cycle we began last May, and officially end support for all legacy ATCF  themes and plugins.

Of course, anyone that owns the legacy versions of CrowdPress, Fundify, or the ATCF plugin may continue to use them, but after April 24th, 2015, we will no longer provide support for these outdated products.

Although we are deprecating legacy versions, we will continue to develop and support the new IgnitionDeck integrated versions of these themes, which should be available as a free download for those of you that have purchased via our website. Any non-owners wishing to purchase the new IgnitionDeck versions of either of these themes can do so via our Themes Page.

Once you have the new versions of the themes, you will also need an IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding (sold separately) license in order to activate the new integration. It’s important to note that front-end submission does require an Enterprise license.

Farewell, ATCF. It’s been an interesting ride. Now, after a brief moment of silence, we return to doing what we do best: building the best and most flexible crowdfunding and e-commerce tools for self-hosted WordPress sites.
